My daughter pitches hard and fast, with movement. And I sit on a bucket and work with her. Every time I take one in the shin, she yells "I know, 'best money you ever spent' Dad". And its true. These are affordable, top notch protection. Would I wear them in the world series? No. But after taking a couple of softballs to the shins, I won't catch without them. Could not be more pleased with this purchase.
