The First Letter is always "T" for Tournament, "G" for Game or "R" for Recreation
T (Tournament) - Leather Cover and Polyurethane Core
G (Game) - Durahide Cover and Polyurethane Core
R (Recreation) - Durahide Cover and Cork & Rubber Core

The Second & Third Letters are either "FP" to indicate Fast Pitch or "SP" to indicate Slow Pitch
FP (Fast Pitch) - Raised Seams
SP (Slow Pitch) - Flat Seams

The Two Digit Number at the End of the Name indicates the COR of the Softball
(USSSA Specifications Prohibit Marking the COR and Compression Specifications on the Ball)

This is a MUST HAVE ball if you swing a composite bat. The "compression" is the amount of pressure in pounds it takes to push in the ball 1/4 of an inch. Thus, if you swing a composite bat that concaves or "flexes", you don't want a ball that easily does the same- if your league only requires you to have the USSSA stamp and doesn't watch the CLASSIC or STADIUM style- GET THIS BALL. Epic Sports gives a very competitive price (other sites went as high as $70/doz), too bad they don't offer a military discount....
