The Rawlings S100P batting helmet is built for safety. This helmet offers increased protection at ball speeds up to 100 mph. This is achieved by using a composite insert that provides additional durability in critical ball impact locations. The S100P also uses a multiple impact expanded polypropylene (EPP) liner for added protection plus PORON XRD material. These two interior layers further reinforce the outer helmet shell and interior padding creating four independent layers of protection that make up the Advanced Impact Management System or AIMS. The S100P uses a combination of Outlast and Pro-Dri material for superior comfort. Pro-Dri is a moisture management wicking material that also fights bacteria. Outlast Thermocules continually absorb, store and release excess body heat to balance temperature and humidity buildup. Safety doesn't mean you have to sacrifice comfort.

Manufacturer's Helmet Sizing
To find a player's correct head size, measure the circumference of the head just above the ears and refer to the chart for accurate sizing. The S100P sizing is designed to provide a snug fit. A player may want to move up a size if they prefer a less snug feel. A batters helmet should always be worn so that it stays in the correct position at all times.
