I use these extensively in my personal batting cage. Compared to similar dimpled softballs from other manufacturers, these feel MUCH better. The other manufacturers products are simply too hard and feel too much like plastic. As a result, when coming off the bat they feel much heavier than an actual game ball. They're even worse for fielding practice. These new practice balls by Martin have a better feel. They're softer, but not so soft that they feel like rubber. Perfect blend and weight. Don't know about long term durability yet, as I've only had them for about 2 weeks, but so far so good.
