My son loves to get his pants dirty. It?s a challenge for him to see how dirty he can get them and if mom can clean them. ?Yes I can! Yes he can ? we always have multiple pairs, not just for baseball, great for paintball too!

You can't go wrong with these Majestic brand baseball pants. My son is about 4'10 and 90 lbs. He fits into a size 12-14 in boys pants. The size xl pants have a comfy fit, and are honestly a little big. They would be a "perfect fit" for a child who wears a boys size 16 (maybe a slender 18?). The belt loops are a great feature because he can wear a belt to make the pants fit better. These pants have an elastic, bunchy bottom. If you buy them a size up like I did, he can either wear them as long pants on cold game day mornings, or he can push them up to show off his uniform-coordinating socks. The fabric and construction of these pants is of a high quality. For the price, one may think they are getting an irregular or a cheaply made product. This is not the case. There is a reinforced waistband (a bit big and weirdly itchy but, with a tucked in shirt and underwear on, I doubt that can be felt). The stitching is done well. The fabric is of high quality and the gray is a standard gray that will ensure your child matches the team (it says blue-gray, but it's a classic gray). Grass and mud stains are easily removable with a bit of laundry detergent, warm water, and a spare toothbrush. The pants retained their size and shape after a regular wash and dry, too. Overall, I totally recommend these pants. They are as high quality as any other major athletic brand, and you can buy 15 pairs for the price of one full price pair at a sporting goods store. I bought two already, and will be back for more when we need them.
