Sam Bat CD1 Maple Wood Baseball Bat
About:
We met our original goal to introduce a maple wood baseball bat to Major League Baseball. Since prototype testing in 1996 we realized that we had a bat that was tougher and will last longer than the ash bat traditionally in use. We make our bats from the best grade maple available.
Sam's Select Stock bats are professional quality produced from select maple logs. Our cutter takes great care to cut our wood with straight grain to maximize strength.
The Sam Bat logo is universally recognized and symbolizes what is undoubtedly the best baseball bat in the world.
CD1 Model
The CD1 is a great bat for transitioning from aluminum to wood. The grip has similar feel to aluminum in the shape being straight to the knob which is well defined. One of our most popular models, it is well balanced with a long sweet spot!
