Baseball bases shall be made of highly durable rubber for long lasting use. The bases will have a honeycomb structure to provide cushioning. The base will be held in place by a rubber anchor post and steel base anchor sleeve. The base anchor sleeve shall be steel and zinc plated for rust resistance. The base anchor sleeve shall accept a 1-1/2" square post 6" long. The base anchor sleeve shall have two fins to anchor it in the earth and have a hinged lid to keep debris out when the bases are not in place.
