Watch out for the AS. They are cut for tall, skinny people -- small in the waist, but long in the crotch. Unless you are one of those pubescent kids that is all arms and legs, AS is probably not for you. Look for YXL to fit 12-13 yr old kids with a normal waist and height. Also, the belt loops on my AXL are positioned asymmetrically on one of my pairs. Weird. But the pants are a good value.
