Nice helmets, durability of 3-4 years before the padding will give out. Maybe more if you put the helmet on pinching the padding by the ear holes to keep it from ripping free. I think the kids wearing hats underneath tend to wear the padding out sooner. I would recommend these for kids 8 and above who need or want a facemask. It would probably wobble on the heads of younger kids or those with smaller head sizes. For smaller kids I would recommend the Tball size or the non-one size fits all version that this is. I've had no complaints of anyone in our league suffering any head or facial injuries while using them over the last 6-8 years.
