Let me start by saying I did my research before buying a replacement for my trusty ol' SSK. I chose the DeMarini Voodoo because I knew the quality of the company's products and I liked the appearance of the glove. It arrived with several of the laces untied or improperly tied, but overall in great shape. Breaking in this glove takes time and patience. Now that it is loosened up, it fits my hand like it was custom made and catches EVERYTHING without hurting my hand! I no longer need the GloveMate pad! The velcro strap snugs the glove nice and tight, too. I'll miss my SSK, but not for long.
