This finger guard is a finger protector that will not bend if struck during athletic competition. Will not interfere with performance. Athletes can pass, catch, shoot, dribble, set, block, etc. as normal. It offers finger protection with a soft foam cover that makes PowerSplint comfortable and safe. Works for athletes of all ages and skill levels in sports such as football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, etc. Fastens with standard athletic tape.
PowerSplint is a protective finger guard designed for athletes who don't want a weakened finger to keep them on the sidelines. PowerSplint will not bend and can protect fingers that have been jammed, bruised, sprained or previously broken or dislocated.
PowerSplint is specially formed to curve over the TOP of your finger so you can pass, catch, dribble, shoot, throw, hit, etc. without interference. A protective foam cover makes a PowerSplint game safe.
2 Sizes:
Medium is for fingers measuring between 2.5 - 3.5" in length
Large is for fingers measuring between 3.5"+ in length
Will PowerSplint affect the way I play my sport?
No. You can pass a football, set a volleyball, shoot a basketball, field a baseball, block a shot on goal, etc. as you normally would. You won't even know you're wearing a PowerSplint unless someone hits your finger and you remember you're glad you have one on!
Will I still be able to bend my finger when wearing a PowerSplint?
Yes but how much depends on how tight you wrap the athletic tape. All our athletes have told us the PowerSplint doesn't interfere at all.
How many should I order?
Because many athletes rely on PowerSplint to be able to compete, we suggest you order two for each finger you want to protect. We wouldn't want to see you have to sit on the sidelines if you accidentally lose your only PowerSplint.
Can I wear a PowerSplint inside a baseball mit or inside goalie gloves?
Yes. PowerSplints are thin and will usually fit.
