I work in CNC manufacturing and uniforms are not provided or required there is no dress code or safety code. But your skin and the clothing you wear are their to shield you from the coolant, chips and dust made by the processes. Denim is optional but its extremely hot. The Mrs. got some scrubs from a local outlet and told me to try those and see if they work for my needs. I liked them so much, I had her get some more but of better quality and these fit the bill, didnt know they were womens, cant really tell anyway. More pockets to stuff instruments in, a bit longer and a better drawstring and the flared legs help to keep the metal out of my shoes. This material is cool and lightweight, I can't say enough positive things about scrubs now.
