The frame should have an additional mounting hole in the middle of the cross bar to allow the use of the mounting hole in the middle of the bottom of the pitching plate. The pitching plate appears to be used for both a 3 spike setup and the Movable Pitching Plate. The Pitching Plate frame allows only 2 mounting holes. Dirt gets between the frame and the plate causing the plate to bulge up in the middle. After constantly taking the plate and frame apart to clear the dirt, we have used an epoxy to glue the plate across the frame bar.
