40% Stretch Nylon, 31% X2O® Acrylic, 26% Wool Dri-release® (88% Polyester, 12% Wool), 3% Spandex
Stretch Nylon:
Continuous nylon filaments that are crimped and heat set to provide elasticity. Due to the relatively high level of elasticity imparted to nylon after it is crimped and heat set, it is very commonly utilized to make stretch socks in combination with other yarns.
X2O® Acrylic:
An advanced moisture-absorbing acrylic fiber containing micropores that have a capillary capacity to absorb moisture, and then dissipate it by evaporation. It is one of the only moisture-absorbing acrylic fibers on the
market. Although it is a lightweight fiber, it has superior insulation qualities and has antimicrobial properties as a result of the fact that the fiber contains chitosan which is the natural material found in the shells of crabs
and prawns. One of the remarkable characteristics of chitosan is its anti-bacterial and anti-mold characteristics.
Dri-release®:
Dri-release® is a patented technology utilizing an intimate engineered blend of moisture-absorbing and moisture-repelling fibers. The moisture-absorbing fibers pull moisture through the fabric while the moisture-repelling fibers push the moisture to the surface of the garment where it can evaporate quickly as airflow moves across the fabric.
Spandex:
A man-made fiber with elastic properties that is often used in place of rubber. Used with other fibers, it provides elasticity, recovery and close fit, primarily in the legs of socks to hold them in place and in the arch and ankle
to provide extra support.

These socks are unique because they don't fall down! They have soft cushioning woven into the soles and massaging elastic all the way up along the leg. Not just elastic at the top edge to let go after a few washings and and cause the dreaded "droopy-sock syndrome". And, they go all the way up to the knee, which is hard to find in a sock. Thanks Wigwam, for getting it right.

These socks are very comfortable, and are truly knee high. The elastic structure woven into the entire leg portion keeps the socks from falling down and massages your leg while you're walking. There is padding woven into the sole of the sock to soften the impact of pavement or trail on your foot, and ventilating "pores" woven into the leg portion. I am extremely pleased with the socks.
